Lot description:


Nero. AD 54-68. Æ (18.5mm, 5.64 g, 12h). Sebaste mint in Phrygia; Ioulios Dionysios, magistrate. Struck circa AD 55. ΣEBAΣ TOΣ, bareheaded and draped bust right / ΣEBAΣTHNΩ N IOYΛIOΣ ΔIONYΣIOΣ, Zeus seated left, holding eagle in right hand and vertical scepter in left. RPC I 3155/1 (same obv. die); SNG München 451-2 (same obv. die). Dark green, almost black, patina. Superb EF.
